Beef Bulgogi



1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
5 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 1/2 Tbsp white sugar
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
2 Tbsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Combine soy sauce, sugar, green onion, garlic, sesame seeds (I don't always use these), sesame oil, and ground pepper in a small bowl. Pour over beef (I put it in a large zip-lock bag).  Seal bag and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.

Heat grill (I use a pan) high heat.
